Collins & Lacy Attorney Christian Stegmaier to Present on Ethics at the National Business Institute Seminar

Collins & Lacy attorney and Retail/Hospitality Law Chair Christian Stegmaier will present on ethics at the National Business Institute one-day seminar on December 13, 2013 in Columbia, South Carolina.
The seminar, “Representing Your Client in Federal Court,” is designed to skillfully navigate the rules and pleading standards to reach a favorable decision. Christian’s session will focus on ethics, a subject which he has covered extensively both in his practice and in previous presentations. Specifically, Christian will discuss ethics in mediation in the federal venue, which will include the following subtopics:
- Ethics Cannons and Recent ABA Opinions
- Conflicts of Interest
- Appropriate Client Communications
- Protecting Confidentiality
This course is accredited by the South Carolina Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization (CLE) for 6.0 hours, of which 1.0 hour relates to ethical considerations.
